rand, did you do a recent update or install? I don't have the problem you are having.
i dont know of a decent way to download these tracks to i copy the url, get rid of the nt player code, then paste the link to an html doc, then open the html doc and option click on the link..
its a serious pain. i used to just save the mp3 that was played in the browser but got the 4kb file...

what are the .mp3s opening with? could be your QTPro prefs doin the override.

getting rid of the nt player code has always opened the song up in quicktime, but then when I "save as source", even though it is an mp3, iTunes interprets it as a quicktime movie and I can't edit the song name. So I changed QT prefs to not open any mp3s at all. So now it just downloads the file to the desktop, but still won't automatically play in iTunes.

use ff, get rid of nt code, cutnpaste to diff. tab, 'save file as' to desktop, add to itunes library. update ipod
