Can someone tell me where I can find all the cool things to do in D.C.? I'm looking for all the hottest spots any designer should visit.
Shops, bars, music, design, gallery, resturants, etc..
Events between April 10 - 18th gladly appreciated, thanks

Georgetown, along M St. for lots of bars/restaurants and shops.
Adams Morgan (take the metro to the Zoo/Woodley Park and walk south) for hipper bars/restaurants and shops.
I also reccomend the new Spy Muesuem for the touristy thing.

A friend of mine was shot there a couple months back. No joke! Be careful.

do NOT do this. now, if you are all about the pink-polo collar pop, step right up. but as was also mentioned, check out Left-Bank, Havana Café, Ghana Café along 18th st. in Adamas Morgan. tons of others there as well.
for the best italian restaurant in DC go to Sorrisso in Woodley Park- tell Rosemary and Pietro Lima says hello. ;)
in Dupont there is
Firefly (1310 New Hampshire Ave.) cool setting and sushi and Kazuza is a great bar right on R and Conn basically. cool crowd, nice patio, ect.i could go on but there is so much to do in DC it is crazy.

U St./Cardozo metro station. Get off there and go to a DC Institution: Ben's Chilli Bowl. If I'm not mistaken, they're open 'till 4 am close for two hours, then open back up at 6 am.
Also, hit up the free museums. Great artwork can be found at the Hirschorn (and by itself a fairly unique building in a city of monolithic square blocks), the National Gallery (West is more classical art, East Wing is modern art, as is the building).
The Black Cat is a great venue for music as well as a great place to just lounge.
If you're really adventerous, call ahead to some embassies, like the Finnish Embassy (designed by Hiekken and Komminen sp?). You can get tours sometimes if you just show up...but some of the architecture is definitely worth checking out.
Go to Eastern Market (one stop east on the yellow line metro from Capitol Hill). Nice market for fresh fruits/vegetables and places to eat. Really nice neighborhoods with historical rowhouses.
Also, go check out the 'Awakening' statue at Hain's Point. Good view of the Potomac and Anacostia river from there...
That should keep you busy...I've got tons more to do and see. If you have something particular you're looking to do, let me know and I might have some suggestions....

have dinner at the crystal city restaurant. goggle it for directions.
yum.

Nah, Crystal City Rest. is a ghetto strip club (the obvious indicator is the 7-11 right next door).
Instead, go high-class: Archibald's or Camelot Show Bar.

hahaha... i thought it was nice.

just kidding...any place with nude ladies dancing is nice....
