I'd consult the budget before you start thinking of all these redraw options and come up with something that works for both unless the client is paying for all the extra work.

I don't understand the stick of rock with the n through it?

@4cY: The white border was added because the logo will be used as a stamp, so all one colour, thus the white border being added around those three bits to separate them from the banner.
Other than that the colour scheme was not my personal favourite but the client chose it from over a dozen samples.

the client is paying what i ask them for, so it's all güd.

I'd like to see you try a version with a kitten...

snuggles, you don't think the client already suggested that as a graphic to go inside the circle?

i think I would like to see a more crafted version, this looks like a second stage visual, I would expect more detail and more opf an organic/drawn feel to the elements, and it looks like it needs tightening up a bit.

already thought of that rasko. The logo will be engraved into a stamp and will be hand-stamped onto bags, business cards, basically everything that it could be.
Meanwhile I'm convincing the client that "bakery & café" is just descriptive/support text and shouldn't be used with the logo all the time.

If it's gonna be a stamp - why not critique it as one color then? You would get a better idea of what it would look like.

it needs a lion on each side, holding swords...
and a unicorn on top.
also the date the company was founded, underneath, in all caps Trajan, in Latin ofcourse, starting with "est."

(Mar 14 06, 06:29)that website is rad.
i like the support copy seperate from the logo.

It's nicer in one colour. But it is just an n in a circle. Doesn't really say nature or corner. In fact a circle / oval is the only shape you could have picked that doesn't have a corner.

(Mar 14 06, 06:35)Uhh... yeah I only registered it a few days ago and I only just put the logo up there like yesterday. I merely posted the address because someone wanted to see the logo in one colour.

i agree with skt. logo doesnt represent nature or corner.
I guess it doesnt have to.
one colour looks much better.
"n" doesnt look healthy, or greeny. it looks like a delivery guy "n" logo

Oh well, I like it and the client likes it. I tried dozens of different trees, leaves, flowers, birds etc. inside the circle but none of them did it for the client so we went with this. That made her happy and that's what matters.
I like to turn to the NT community for advise sometimes but when it comes to critiques, most people say something stupid or blunt instead of saying what they like or what works or what doesn't. Would be nice if critiques were taken seriously around here.

Sorry, I just told you what I thought didn't work. That was an n in a circle.
