Flash to AI

Well dangit. I have a vectored render out of 3D Studio Max as a SWF. Pulls into Flash just fine. However now the client wants the renders to be put on huge posters for a trade show.
I tried to export EPS from Flash as well as copy and paste, but the scenes are a little complex so they come out black or jumbled in Illustrator.
I even considered upping the size in Flash and export as a PNG, but it won't do really big sizes.
Is there a 3rd party app that can convert SWF to EPS or AI? Anyone do something like this before?
Thanks.

Have you tried opening the swf in Illustrator without exporting in from Flash?

I don't think Illustrator will open a .swf, but try putting your Flash art on separate layers and isolating any problems that way. Sorry I don't have a less tedious suggestion.

Illustrator won't open SWFs that I know of.
CyBrainX yeah it is tedious. It is a couple of outdoor scenes with a lot of complexity, so separating things will be veyr painful.
Thanks for the suggestion. We may need to just re-render each scene at higher res.

when you say 'scene' are you saying a still or a motion sequence?

can you post or email your swf scene?
I can try opening them in Corel and saving them as eps to see what happens for you

Jeez version3 that is nice of you. I will email you a test SWF, it is only about 100K.
Sorry when I say scene, I meant a 3D scene of a restaurant.

i got your piece had the same problems but learned that the black image is just a black box on top of the rendering
take your exported ai to illustrator, ungroup it and delete the black top layer
underneath you will see your 3d image
if not let me know, i'll show you

i sent it back to you
