I might just be having a hard time seeing how George Washington praying like that is a bad thing. Or the boy scouts praying after 911?
I kinda think the parent is the bigger dumbass here. I bet he/she got the idea while beating their kid for stealing again cause they never taught him better.

here's my/an opinion
I know that religion is an option, I see it on tv and I see the churches just as prevalent as liquor stores and pawn shops on corner after corner after corner.
I would not want religion to be put in fron tof my children at school, that is my option to introduce and include them in such things
I would also protest any school that required that my child say the words "under god" if required to recite the pledge of allegiance
