Does anyone know why flash flip flops in files when trying to move objects one pixel at a time. Sometimes it moves the object like 5 pixels or so at a time. It is killing me and I cant seem to find any documentation on this. It is most evident when im trying to move nodes on a path.

i think it depends on how much your zoomed in/out

Everything in flash is depends on zoom pretty much. If you are zoomed in you some times can't get the fill tool to work because it doesn't see the shape. I always use the properties for precise movement.

Hey Paco Taco,
Yes, it depends on the zoom.It also depends on if you have a nested clip that is scaled down. So if your parent clip is at 50% scale and you move the nested child clip ONE CLICK, its actually moving it at .5 pixel increments.
Likewise, if your parent clip is at 200% scale and you move your child clip ONE CLICK, it moves it at 10 pixel increments.
Hope that helps.

oh yeah... try to not scale your mc's once they're mc's if you plan on accurate movement and pixel alignment...
... or keep really really good track of what's being scaled. :)

no... I am not zoomed at any level... and no I dont have any nested movie clips.
This is only happening with the nodes on the path.
