set it up with a CMS, like a blog, but not as in depth.
or you could use macromedia contribute

isn't their a way where a site reads a .txt. file on the server (example for news) then all the client has to do is upload the .txt file with their new news? Does that work?

use the superSimple.com CMS. It's really light weight and easy to set up.

I'll check out Macromedia, too.

can the super simple cms be used with flash?

I used Contribute 3 on this site for a client recently:
http://www.computerrecycling.us
Contribute has some bumps with displaying CSS correctly, but worked them out. It is an easy solution if you don't do anything too fancy. I don't know how it will be supported in the future now that Adobe has their hands on it.

supersimple works for any mySQL database. as long as your flash is getting data from a mysql database, it'll work.

(Jan 7 06, 09:04)aaaah .. mySQL ... think this is
way over my head. Just a lowly
art director, a one man band,on a Mac, that does a few sites a year :(

they idea behind supersimple is to offer products to designers that do nto have the background to do it themselves. If you feel like trying it, let me know. I am happy to help when i can.
