Hes a man among boys. Well see how he adapts to the NFL...

He'll forever be known as a football God here in Texas...regardless of what he does in the NFL....at least in my eyes =)
- mattyd0
though he performed unreal in the rose bowl, he still aint better than reggie bush.
- jp330
well, at least Young knows how to lateral the ball, although, his knees might be touching the gound when he does it =)

(Jan 5 06, 13:33)I think you meant to say he's a man amongst steroids and he takes them. Don't assume that he's playing for someone in particular. He could be traded down. Doubt the Lions will take him. There are plenty of other QBs out there and Harrington never has had a good coach. It's more or the less the crap system and lack of blocking he's had. Same with David Carr.

What?No idea what that meant.

nothing, he just looks a little too big, like larger than NFL QB's.
Think it's roids if you ask me. But whatever, maybe he's just Mighty Joe Young or something...
Still a very good college QB. Large target like McNair in the pros. Easy to hit, he'll get belted running like that in the pros
;)

come on the NFL already has Vick and we all know how good he is ... as in not that good

McNair. Good comparison. Probably a little more mobile. Hes not that big really. He just has speed...he outran the pusuit several times.

Im talking about Young herre

but this kid is a quarterback,
meaning....he doesnt HAVE to run. He can sit in the pocket, read the defense, make the decision, and deliver.Yeah, he's a great runner, but i would liken him more to a donovan mcnabb than a vick. vick is a great athlete, but its like he's playingh sandlot out there on sundays.

Yea , i love vick , but come on now use your WR for time to time for chets skae
- Point50
any good scramble QB looks like they're running a sandlot game though. That's the beauty of being able to throw and run at one position. Any time you can double threat when you have the ball, you put the defense on it's heels. In Young's case, he's just that much faster than everyone else on the field when he takes that angle, plus he's so agile he makes sloppy tacklers look like pop warner tacklers.

He doesnt have to run, but a mobile quarterback is more and more important in the NFL these days. Look at the success of Vick (cough-except this year), Cunningham, McNabb(not in a while though), Young, Montana...

I wouldn't say McNabb is very good and Culpepper same build is pretty sad himself. pfttt..
Although he could be good if they just ask him to hand the ball off 30 times and throw it 15
- 305artist0
McNabb got the job done...4 title games in 4 years is commendable, what else do you want?
- fullerc0
did anyone even understand one word VY said in the post game interview?

McNabb is average, just had a really good team around him, including the likes of TO, NFC is and was subpar during those days anyway and Culpepper, what has he done in general?
