Funny - I've been working in web based businesses for over twelve years and I have NEVER heard of this man.
Graphic design has no place on the web - I think design is probably one of the most important things happening in terms of business. Gordon Brown and the Design Council all think it is. Design isn't about animated gifs or flash intros like McGovern thinks it is. He has no understanding of the discipline. Google, Amazon etc have been designed - why does he think they haven't been touched by a designer and so are more pure.
