so i used Kirupa's xml image loader to display images.. but it wont display GIFs and also doesnt display JPGs that was not exported out to web. normal jpg with RGB setting wont display.. why is that?

i am afraid of using PNGs cause each browsers display color differently. or should i not worry since its driving with in flash?

not sure if you're trying to load them into a text field but flash can't load progressive jpegs or gif's into text fields

i am using empty movie clip..

I dont think flash can load jpegs dynamically, check on macromedia.com to be sure

yep, make sure your jpgs aren't progressive
