Hi all,
happy saturday! I would love some feed back on my new one page portfolio.
http://www.k-l-d.commainly the work, what could/should be taken out, and whether it breaks on any of your browsers.
The site design is pretty minimalist as of now. Hoping to spice it up in the near future but I need to get this out.
thanks for you time.

Looks fine on: pc, win xp, FF and IE.
- there is no 'top' anchor after the olypmus work.
- big space after 'star wars' preview thing and 'top' anchor.

Looking real sharp there, kyle.
My only concern is the order --or lack of-- you display the work in. It doesn't make sense to me - you have a hard drive cooler ad and a Star Wars under the same headline. Perhaps make it more obvious what every piece is for?
Everything is obviously for different audiences, don't think you should take anything away.

thanks Brad and jox,
I'll look into the ordering of certain sections with more than one project(star wars). That was for the same agency as the hard drive stuff but different clients so I can see how it could get confusing.

You totally ripped my site!
Joking. Funny must be a requirement for bay area web dudes to use grey, blue and safari screen shots.
I agree with organizing the work better, by type and title. I think the one pager, long scroller is working against you here versus something organized.

thanks Aaron,
um... I think my grey is a little lighter ;p
I may just break it up into projects/clients with a nav at the top. Since the page is built , I could just copy it and delete the other divs.
Are you at EVB now or organic?
- Epictive0
I am at Organic now. Left EVB in May. Where you at, or just doing the freelance thing?

Nice kyle! I'd like to see it broken down into client links - and maybe some variation in teh html type treatment - bolds or italics to differentiate the client name or something.
Tight work though - it's a very strong portfolio. Shame you're not moving to Denver as you'd have no problem getting work - but Boulder seems to be picking up as well...

- jevad0
hahah - good point! of course they do - I drove to boulder for over a year!
thats one cute dog - i think mix breeds are om here tho...
- kyl30
so only full blooded then , that makes sense. My wife still won't take the chance.
yeah, katie's sister lives down the street from our new place and I've been in the city for most of my life so boulder seemed like a good alternative.
what's the commute during peak hours to and from denver from boulder? I'm willing to do anything to work on good projects with good people.
Is there a bike trail between them. That's what I really need to do.

couple of nice jobs opps in denver right now.

good work... solid site.. I say everything that has been stated, is within respect, but I must say, that having some of the work (the Starwars thing, not that but the ad above that?)
mixed with some of your identity work and all that, really may throw a monkey wrench in everything... but hey that's just me.. G'luck with everything.

thanks, I'm going to lose the lucas arts banner for now and break everything up

thanks seff
updates:
I broke them out by client
http://www.k-l-d.commuch better, and now I can add some detail images without the scroll getting out of hand.
thanks again for your feedback

kyle... the breakdown by client is enough for me... love the work too - everything is great... you have a simple timeless approach - I likes. :)

I think the gray text on the blue is hard to read.

I would personally rather live in Colorado than here in SF. :)

i would get rid of the dropdown thing. i believe in acces to everything all at once if possible.
