just use regular then. you're right bold is probably too intense.
i don't agree that if you are using CSS/xhtml you can compromise on text resizing. that's my opinion at least. and its the proper thing to do.

If we're talking about resizing text, does the nav really need to be resized?
I could see content text doing so, but the size of the font in the nav is 11 if I remember.

yeah, i agree about it looking crap at certain sizes. people with a print background (like myself) have a tough time giving up control of the exact size of fonts. I've let that go a bit and just focus on getting the ratio between the fonts looking good.
