not to mention a rabid badger on your shoulder.

it aint that hard with cd mixers dude
cue it up and when the 4/4 break is complete, drop the mix.
if you hear it going to fast and the beats start to sound like shoes in a dryer, then slow it down...or speed it up
honestly..i dont think you need courses....just keep at it and you'll get it eventually.
if you can clap your hands to the sound of a beat, you can beatmatch
- kinetic0
what are you mixing by the way?

pancake batter

well, that's a whole 'nother story then :P

i have enough problems without that monster chasing me.
These 2 little guys on my shoulder are bad enough, especially the little red guys with horns.

#1 trick of the trade...
prac·tice
To do or perform (something) repeatedly in order to acquire or polish a skill: practice a dance step.
being self taught is way cooler

and more rewarding.

Go to clubs and watch djs spin. Take note of how they use their eq's, how the drop in tracks.
practice practice practice.
Theres no excuse for sloppy beat matching on cdjs. Its so easy. Beatmatching on 1200, with warped vinyl, now thats tricky.

Start with house.
It's the easiest to mix.

Why bother with CD mixers at all? Ableton Live is the way to go these days, it's so much more flexible and you can do so much more with it.
