(Nov 19 05, 08:38)Republicans have all the power now and to me, based upon the last vote and demographics, will keep it. what you mean exactly?

(Nov 19 05, 08:38)Is this your Christmas wish or are you really in complete denial?

i meant "house" in the sense of how the majority of US citizens view the conservative/republican ethos.
and I am niether right nor left. So don't jump on me Republican.

Republican, stop being so typical. What do I mean?
1st - putting words in someones mouth and then attributing said words to "Democrats" (example: "Democrats hate free speech when it doesn't serve them." Which democrat in this threadd said she shouldn't be allowed to talk? Being critical of something said is not an attack on their right to say it.)
2nd - beginning every other one of your points with the word Democrats. (example: "Democrats would rather see innocent people die..." I'm glad you can read the mind of every individual that calls themself a democrat.
Those are cheap shots. What are you Sean Hannity?
In my opinion, both parties are useless because they only exist in reference (and opposition) to each other. Not exactly the best system for encouraging people to think for themselves instead of blindly following their party.

It's a shame they've resorted to slamming Murtha too. What would anyone expect? this is an administration that thrives on fear, deceit, and a Macheivellian attitude toward foreign and domestic governance.

How anybody can watch and listen what the republican camp has been spittin out and not see the obvious lies and cover ups is beyond me.

JazX, if you don't think the Republicans are in trouble, you aren't paying attention.
Go check out the governor races. Or prospects for a Democratic Congress in 2006. Or the Plame scandal. Or all the Republican Indictments. Or *snicker* Bush's poll numbers.
What is it at now, 36% approval rate, from a FOXNEWS poll?
- Republican20
Mimio the fear thriving party would be the Dems. The reason people voted Bush back in office was because we already feel safe. The Dems want him out because they continue to think that the Bush admin is destroying this country. They are certaintly the party built on fear and emotion.
fate_ do not forget that the polls you are watching are the same polls that told you that the Dems would win the election and that the Iraqi votes would never happen.
Wake up.

From FoxNews Republican? Really? I think you're mistaken.
- Republican20
JazX, if you don't think the Republicans are in trouble, you aren't paying attention to the left controlled media propaganda.

And Republican, I'm sorry, but yours is no longer the pragmatic party. That ideal is lost on the current republican party. Otherwise Bush wouldn't need to invoke 9/11 in every speech.
- fate_0
Republican, again, I sourced Foxnews for a specific reason, so you couldn't use that rhetoric.

You're just embarrassing yourself.

Watching Bush speak is like watching a 15 year old deny he was the one who smashed Mr. Williams window with his baseball while he stands there with the baseball bat in his hand.
- Republican20
fate_ since when do you take FOX as your source of honest media? I thought you always said they were biased to the right. Hmm.
I never claimed FOX to be one sided - you did. You're the one who should be embarrassed.
- fate_0
Republican, don't digress from the real point here. If FOX is biased towards your side, why claim their facts are incorrect or distorted? What are you trying to say here? When do you admit that the polls aren't just numbers being pulled out of the Lefties asses?
- fate_0
And please, do not even retort with some "Fair and Balanced" joke. We are not going to debate the bias of Fox, just as we would not debate the bias of Michael Moore.
- Mimio0
I seem to recall the president and most of his administrtion painting pictures of impending doom and mushroom clouds prior to the Iraq invasion. Utter bullshit, I've never seen such manipulation in American politics.

it's obvious that the US is stuck in iraq for awhile. we leave now, every goon and gang is going to run to iraq to be the first to take it over. it wouldn't be hard. we have to stay for the time being.
the point of all this should be two things:
1) develop an exit strategy while
2) removing the man who put us there from power by whatever means necessary

I have a Bushism calendar-everyday is something stupid that he says. Like "Rarely is the question asked 'Is Our Children Learning?'"
great stuff.
