go to photoshop...if you have it, and use the actions panel. Read about it in the help.

if you're on pc, you can install powertoys and use the context menu to resize multiple selected files.

defintely use actions in photoshop...
1. hit record on the menu (with a pic open)
2. resize it
3. hit stopthen under file go to 'batch', select your source folder and your destination folder and let it bang them out for you. learning this has saved me as an intern --- so i can sit on NT and waste time.
if this is for web and you have a specific width and height constraint, you will have to seperate out vertical and horizontal shots. change the width when recording your horiz action, the height when recording your vertical action.

You dont need seperate Actions for width and height.. You can handle both in one Action. (in Image Ready at least)
After recording your Action, double-click the 'Resize Image' step of the Action, then you can choose in Action Options: 'Fit Image By Width and Height'.
This process works for fine-tuning quite a few options after you have recorded an action, such as positioning a text element relative to the bottom right corner (minus values) rather than relative to the top-left corner...

If you have a Mac running Tiger you can use Automator to do this.

Where is the "record" option in Photoshop? Do you need CS2?

Open Photoshop, press F1. Read up on actions. They're as old as time itself! Learn about them!
