my dad has a ghia
the squareback is in [obviously] not such great condition.
but the ghia he rebuilt and it is beautiful.

go the distance and make that fucker a truely badass ride.

by similar i mean orange and no working doors.
paint a 01 on the side, a flag on top and practice sliding across the hood to get to the other side.

what about just getting a steering wheel lock and leaving the doors permanently unlocked?
if your ride is kinda beat and you dont' keep valuables inside, it should be fine.
steering wheel locks are only like $30.
or get a pedal lock, those are safer (i've had my car stolen twice with a steering wheel lock on).

join AAA...for less than 100 bucks a year you can have a tow truck come and open it for you for free. They will also jump start, tow, and many other things for the yearly fee.
Tell the tow truck driver about the heels and you will get extra fast service.

I busted up myself this weekend - it is dangerous at home.
1. Racked my self in the nutz with tha vaccuum cleaner. on the ground laughing and crying at the same time.
2. Sliced open my thumb on a broken glass in the garbage.
3. Stabbed in the side by wifes bike in storage - forks - ouch.

the car is probably not worth 100 bucks. AAA isn't worth it.
i'm just going to keep it unlocked with no valuables inside it.
i do keep a spare change of clothes in the car though, hopefully no one would steal that.
