has the most Employment Opportunities in the QBN?
Is it because they get tired of their employees and they change them as often as they want to?
- swollenelbow0

NYC is the second largest megacity in the world, encompassing over 22 million people in its greater metro area. It is also the financial center of the world, as well as a hub for countless other industries. Some stats:
2,000 design agencies
1,200 publishing and media companies
5,000 in- house design departments
500 creative departments in advertising
Thats why theres always job ops there.

(Oct 18 05, 15:30)I moved to NYC just before 9/11 and things were very dry but I was still fortunate to find something. Right now there's job postings freakin everywhere, and recruiters are calling me on a regular basis.

this year i changed jobs and it was the greatest thing i ever done! i was stuck in a position where i wazs going nowhere and my salary was not moving at all.
now i turn down work, not because i dont want it , but because i will never settle for anything less ever again!
nyc is always my home and i am happy to be here, when times were tough the city always was there for me!
you ask why nyc? i say maybe because everyone here is extra hungry, and cost of living is extra high! you mix those 2 and you have determined workers who want to succede, other places it seems people are lazy...lazy like picking up a certain black book from someone's house...
lazy enough to complain all day about it and do nothing.
that would never happen in nyc! not one new yorker would ever let life hold them back ever!!
this is why there is a great job market in nyc and nowhere else!!
we are hungry, and we will walk all over you! so get out of our way!!! or suck it up and be one of us!!
