NYC is the second largest megacity in the world, encompassing over 22 million people in its greater metro area. It is also the financial center of the world, as well as a hub for countless other industries. Some stats:
2,000 design agencies
1,200 publishing and media companies
5,000 in- house design departments
500 creative departments in advertising
Thats why theres always job ops there.
