How did you end up in your job? Are you happy, if not what else would you rather be doing?
- JazX0
I'm happy that they are letting me go, however, I'm not happy about the loss of income. It paid very well. I'll find something else quickly however. I go here through a contracting company.
I'd rather be teaching at a private international school somewhere in Souther Africa. Hopefully, will do so one day or possibly get my Masters in Geoscience and work for Shell or BP off the coast of Angola and own a house along that beach with my fiance.
Ahhh I can dream right...?

I responded to an ad on the NY Times, interviewed and got hired. My job is pretty laid back, but I might start looking next year.

The way i got into this is pure weirdness. I was 16, and my father had a friend who was into politics. That friend of his needed a logo/website and a few other things. And so my dad started telling his friend: oh my son can do that! He's a computer Whiz. And so on ... After that i got in touch with that man and he asked me if i could do it, i said ooh ... yes!
So i learned HTML and Illustrator on the go. After that, i decided it was what i wanted to do for a living, not only because i thought it was fun back then but because i had always been passionate about Advertising and Computers, i thought be the best way to do both was by getting to be a Graphic Designer.
To this date, I'm still happy. Currently I'm an Art Director for a Firm in NYC.

My job is boring. I work in-house doing club flyers and ads for a company that owns a quite a few. Gets monotanous after a while trying to figure out how to re-invent the wheel week after week. No challenge really either. I'd rather be at home painting or working out at the gym
