nice, shutdown. that bike looks like it's flying just sitting there.
plus, the landscape in the background could've been taken anywhere around my house. lots of great roads to ride on here (west/central pennsylvania, us).

My first was a '90 Honda Hawk GT. (no pics of mine)
http://www.hawkgt.com/photoalbum…
Bad ass V-twin sound, esp. after pipes and jet kit added. After it got ripped off, i got a Kawi EX500. (you see I'm 5' 7" so not many bike were comfortable, agian no pics of mine.
Cost me $2k used with 1500 miles on it. So far I've put 33k miles on it and counting. Wrecked it 3 times (each time a dumb-ass drivers fault) Broke the hand and some road rash.
Next will be a cafe racer project...
Wear full gear, and take the safety course.

zombiewoof:
did you do much riding when you lived in pa? you should see this area these days... the streets are freakin' polluted with bikes.
no kidding, i'll go out for a ride by myself and end up riding down the road with four other bikes. crazy.

We have a saying over on a forum i use
ALWAYS WEAR YER FERKIN LEATHERS!
don't be a twat and ride in shorts and t-shirt, it ain't big and it ain't clever.

Brain, PA's where I started riding. There are some great twisties up thru the mountains. I really like the ride up around Blue Knob. Then moved to DC where there are afew good trips, but too many cars (all three accidents happened in that area) Then I rode in the Bay Area for a few years. So fine. lane splitting is legal, bridges are free, and trips down Hwy1 and the East bay hills were divine. Now I'm exploring the wilds of S. Central Michigan. Deatils to follow. But we just went from 85F yesterday to 50F today. damn that was sudden.

nice roads through these mountains, for real.
one of the guys i work grew up in DC. he loves riding this area due to the low traffic and nice, windy roads. his big thing is that there's a hell of a lot more gravel laying around these parts than he's used to.
i'm surprized anyone was able to drag you away from CA. sounds awesome.
i'd love to hear about your new area, so feel free to drop me a line.
by the way, those pics i posted early in the thread start and end in windber, with a big chunk of the riding being on route 30 between schellsberg and ligonier.
