suitcase is garbage. its slow and crashes often and wont read fonts that are perfectly fine. its a total memory hog.
this is a BETA verison of this linotype font explorer. and in my opinion its awesome. im siked. shit is fast as hell and handles a large amount of fonts no problem. i love it.

having some problems with FontEx X. Having to quit and restart apps to get fonts to show up. (havn't had to do that since 9) DOES NOT auto open fonts as it claims. it'll give me a list of fonts and their status, but comes back with an error when i click activate. un-good.

I no longer have access to helvetica neue! gee, i'll never miss it!
if anyone figures out that, "i just can't cativate a font i know to be perfectly fine" issue, please let me know.

I hate Suitcases, and just got the approval to move the whole design studio over to Font Agent Pro. Then this comes out...
FAP it excellent in my opinion, i've got nothing but praise for that application. But I'm keen to see what feX is like.

i installed on my gf's computer last night (guinea pig) and it went fine.

Going back to FAP. Still has that same annoying duplicates/activation screen that comes up.
its good for free, but i've already order FAP. Better than suitcases but :o)

i just ordered a new laptop - pick it up tonight.
