Anyone use this? Im using suitcase but I must say I am slightly fed up with it... Is Font Explorer worth getting or should I stick witrh Extensis????

ive heard font agent is better, but i'm still on suitcase x.
seems to work ok for me, but a lot of fonts dont preview.

I moved to font agent a few months ago, its clunky, slow and I'm not entirely sure its better than suitcase (which I used before)..
I also have the odd stability issues..
I like the idea of Linotypes stab at this - a simple font management software.. I just want a simple fonr manager thats relatively quick and just works.. I'm downloading it lets see what happens..

hmm just remembered the old fontexplorer, I hope they've rewritten this version the old one was shit to say the least.. (ah os 9 days when everything was fast and just seemed to work, less features and tools but so much less problems)

I find suitcase on the pc alright..can't say too much is wrong with it, its not great but irs not bad..

initial impression is its really nice, much better interface than anything I've tried.. no activation for ps/illustrator only indesign and quark..
Seems pretty quick..

I like Font Book
Works just like Address Book
It's fast, plain and simple.
All the bitching about it, I don't understand.. Works flawless in 10.4 with tons of fonts

I've just never really trusted fontbook after the fuk up when it came out (10.3 was it?) maybe time to revisit..

Its a pure itunes rip - the font store looks strangely similar to the itunes store..
I'm not complaining though this has some lovely little features..

I just uninstalled Font Agent and already working with FontExplorer.. Couple of little bugs (can you rename any sets? I can't seem to only is editable for a second)
Pretty good though..

I cant seem to activate some fonts that I could activate using suitcase... anyone else getting this or know how i can activate said fonts....
When I click on the tickbox to activate it just unticks itself instantly... very ANNOYING!
