I have the new might mouse from Apple, don't need a mouse mat, but I'm a bit worried I would scratch my nice new office table.
Looking from any well designer designers, illustrators etc. who have their artwork on mouse mats, just a bit of inspiration, I thought about getting my new companies logo on mats, but its a bit self indulgent.

never use mousepads.
but actually if you have an optical mouse on a glass desk it would be handy...errr. actually that's what i got at home and i just use a couple sheets of 8.5x11. works great! very minimalist

I can't believe the number of people who don't use mouse pads.
What's the deal? When I use my mouse w/o a pad on my wooden desk, mouse control is extremely unresponsive and jittery.
Am I missing something?

Dirty lens maybe? Or uneven, bumpy wood? I have the opposite experience, the curor wanders with mouse pads.
