Hmmm...I don't think I can watch this series anymore without any promiscuous occurrences.
Kidding, but that has been lacking a bit in the past few episodes. Been replaced with violence, which I'm sure you guys don't mind :P
Oh, but Pullo, Vorenus, and Antony are looking hotter everyday. Verrry nice...

As a result of their arena exploits, Pullo and Vorenus have become heroes to the Roman rank and file, causing Caesar to reward those he normally would punish. Pullo's unexpected return to Vorenus' household is not appreciated by his former slave Eirene. Caesar decides to overhaul the Senate by adding some unexpected new faces, to the chagrin of the old guard. And Servilia hurdles the final obstacle in her ambitious revenge scenario, at Niobe's expense.

WOW.
very deep-
poor niobe, i feel bad - vorenus is crushed, poor guy never would have wished THAT to happen -
it seems pullo and eriene have mellowed out toward one another - i'm glad they have both found peace, together...
and of course - the poor unfortunate ceasar - imagine how history would have played out if he wasn't doomed that day -
an excellent show, finale and all - too bad season 2 wont premiere for another 2 years...

Did not get into it at all. I was hoping for one of them Big roman orgies, which has still not materialised.

One thing interesting about this show, that they might not get into, but maybe they will:
----
The dramatic assassination on the Ides of March sparked a new civil war between the Caesarians: Octavian, Mark Antony, Lepidus, and Republicans: Brutus, Cassius, and Cicero among others. This conflict ended with a Caesarian victory at the Battle of Philippi, and the formal establishment of the Second Triumvirate in which Octavian, Antony, and Lepidus shared control of Rome. Tensions between Octavian and Antony soon plunged Rome into further civil war, culminating in Antony's defeat at the Battle of Actium, and leaving Octavian as the undisputed leader of the Roman world.Octavian becomes Caesar Augustus: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oct…

(Nov 20 05, 19:49)Haha, I seriously was WAITING and waiting for that line to come out of Caesar's mouth, but, alas, it did not. *sigh, not sure what to think of Brutus. He's obviously suicidal now.
Marc Antony has always been noble in a sense since the beginning. I'm interested to see what Octavian will do. He seems quite pissed off. At the same time, I loved the scene between Servilia and Atia, so I'm not sure I want Servilia to leave just yet.
I knew the Caesar part, and expected the Eireen & Pullo part at the end, but totally did not see Niobe killing herself. Whoa! I knew she was going to do something drastic as soon as she was inching away from Vorenus, but I thought she was getting help for herself or running away, or trying to talk Vorenus out of hurting anyone. I was thinking he'd come to his senses before doing something horrible though, which he always did better than Pullo could. But I guess Niobe didn't want to live with that. Sucks too, because I liked her. Oh well.
If season 2 is coming in 2007, then it won't be two years. It'll be 1 year and a few months.
AWESOME EPISODE :)
