I love Marc Antony :)

ive never seen Marc Antony look so distraught, throughout the entire season, as much as when he saw Ceasar lying dead on the floor - how he had that look on his face as he slowly walked backwards, out of the senate house.
Same goes for poor, poor Vorenus - heres a guy who did everything by the book, and ends up one of the most unfortunate.

I don't know the look on his face was more like, you're in for it now. Had to be some shock involved you would think as he fought wars with Caesar. I think Marc Antony was going at that moment to gear up to f*ck them up soon.

i hear ya - and that goes for Octavian as well - when he and Atia left Servilias house, he gave that final sneer to Servilia - as bright and insightful as Octavian is, he can be a brutal fucker also - rememebr how he beat the piss out of that gaul who kidnapped him, after Pullo and Vorenus rescued him? Antony and Octavian will WRECK SHIT next season

yeah, seriously. They're out for revenge. Maybe not even revenge, but something close to it. Bloodshed, for sure. I remember when Octavian was telling his secrets to Octavia, and he seemed a bit weirded out by his own actions, but for the most part didn't care about what he had done.
Marc Antony's look was probably a mixture of so many things. Confusion, hatred, anger, hurt, etc.

Octavian looked as if he would kill Servilla right then and there.
Octavian IS Caesar Augustus in reality, who, historically, becomes ruthless and takes no sh*t. He claims this after the fall of Antony.
- Jaline0
Yeah, Augustus. He created the Roman Empire, and was a better leader than anyone by far. Even comes up higher than Caesar on the 'most important people in history' list. However, he was never as interesting as Caesar or Antony because he lacked charisma.

I thought the murder scene was a bit phoney anyway. Come on, Caesar would have had gaurds around him at all times. pfttt....
- fadeproof0
Cesars belief in his own pricelessness kept him from having extra security - remember Posca pract. insisted he did, but Cesar refused -
but still, i was thinkng shit, if i was Cesaar, i would 1-wear a metal chestplate under my robes whenever in public, and 2- most DEF. would have carried a sword concealed in my clothes ALWAYS. at least he would have taken a few of those fuckers with him to the afterlife

ehhhhh, he was much older and sick in real life anyway, he had his day
- fadeproof0
i mean come on, a guy that ambitiuos, who defeated whole countries and civilizations, you'd think would be more cautious - expect the unexpected i suppose...

was also gonna say;
there is a wonderful collection of audio lectures by Professor Garret Fagan, encompassing the birth of Rome all the way through to the advent of Modern Christianity - look it up on some torrents, very well done, great for commuting to work/ smoking a fat one and just laying on your bed ;)

Vorenus no doubt assists Octavian in the future. Watch! Pullo and he are friends with the lad, they set that up from the get-go when they found him that time.
