Jaline, the only reason that X-tianity flourished in Roman society was due to a dream by Roman Emperor Constantine many years later.

fuckin Pullo - good god...
dam juicy episode -at this rate it looks like ceasar is gonna get wasted soon -
and shit, Pullo getting approached by the thug that Vorenus used to work for - man, the possiblities -
already craving the next one :)
- JazX0
if Caesar gets wasted soon, then it's pure fiction. Pullo definitely is a psycho and gonna' go off the deep end, which is good because it throws viewers for a loop. No one saw that one comin'...
muhahahhhhaha I dig Caesar

Bullitt
(Nov 7 05, 02:55)nope but it might as well be. 95% of the actors are from the UK

------- SPOILERS!!!! --------
I thought Octavia and Antony were supposed to start a relationship this past episode? That's weird, because it's all over the internet. They actually get married in the next episode, and it'll greatly help Octavian's political endeavours.
I guess they had too much else to fit into the episode. Pullo's actions were pretty shocking, and disgusting too, haha. I felt sorry for him, but I think he'll get much worse before he gets better.

SPOILERS for the next two episodes (which are also the last two of season 1), and some information on season 2:
- Obviously Caesar is murdered at the end of season one.
- Servilia gets to be a real operator in the power vacuum after Caesar dies.
- Three seasons are planned. The BBC hasn't decided yet whether or not they will also co-produce or air the second season of the show
- Timon may be a lesser character in the first season but bigger things are in store for him.
- Pullo is involved in a fight in the gladiator ring, with several other men. Vorenus is also in a fight surrounded by a similar crowd, but it's not clear if it's the same fight as Pullo's.
-Pullo and Vorenus are hired by Caesar to execute Pompeian faction members at a local tavern. Caesar hears rumors of a conspiracy against him.
- Antony and Octavia marry.
- While Pullo descends into Erastes' netherworld, Vorenus negotiates a severance for veteran soldiers on behalf of Caesar, who invites him and Niobe to one of Atia's parties. (I'm thinking Niobe's secret may be in jeapordy here!)
Cassius attempts to convince Brutus that the life and death of the republic is "in your hands."- Pullo's latest job has dire consequences; a former comrade approaches Vorenus about veterans' benefits; Brutus reexamines his relationship with Caesar; Antony tries to rekindle his romance with Atia (he probably has secret intentions for this)
- As a result of their arena exploits, Pullo and Vorenus have become heroes to the Roman rank and file, causing Caesar to reward those he normally would punish.
Pullo's unexpected return to Vorenus' household is not appreciated by his former slave Eirene; Caesar decides to overhaul the Senate by adding some unexpected new faces, to the chagrin of the old guard; and Servilia hurdles the final obstacle in her ambitious revenge scenario, at Niobe's expense (remember: Servilia finds out Niobe's secret from Octavia in a previous episode, and doesn't think much of it).

yeah yeah no kidding...

the next episode is airing on my b-day! but i won't be watching it until Monday (the day after), b/c I have to download it.

MY GOD what an insane episode!
the power of friendship seems stronger then political ties for poor mentally-torn Vorenus - this guy is torn between his loyalty toward Ceasr/ Rome, and his brothers from the military -
that brought a tear to my eye that he jumped into the arena to save the life of his friend, Pulllo - Pullo is a good man, but the powers that be led him down certain paths...
we all know what happens to Ceasar in the end, but i can say now that it will not be any less shocking to see it actually happen -
yo Jaline! it seems like its good news and bad news about the next season of Rome;
good news; another season is on the way!; bad news; production doesnt start until mid 2006, and won't premier until 2007! :(all in all, im very satisfied ;)

and did i mention that the CG-charged fight scenes were BANANAS! this is the first time this whole season that so much violence occured at one time! i have to say it was crazy entertaining!
Pullo is a badass motherfucker - he WASTED about 7 dudes in like 5 minutes! just because of that, i would have pardoned him for his crime - Pullo is the MAN!!!
- JazX0
VERY GOOD!
- vealemoble0
episode 11 = SWEET! .. episode 12 better be like 3 hours long!
- stevegee0
I loved the scene where Pullo slaughtered all those dudes, great episode.
I'm really annyoed that it's over so soon with no new WIRE or Sopranos on next, at least for a while. HBO is slipping.
