Don't get all crazy on me....but, my only question is concerning the pattern behind the text under Defining Space. Might be too much "wood".

I like the wood look, strong backgrounds are fine as long as the content is well padded inside clear areas like that. As was mentioned, I'd perhaps look at darkening the text a little or lightening the box backgrounds a tiny bit but apart from that it's a neato little site :)

I don't have a problem with the wood BG, it's just that it seems a little too orange and not natural, seems to treated.
I also feel that you have a few irrelevent elements in there namely the faded wood effect behind the welcome copy, the 45º lines, and faded sunset behind the links. I think you also have too much space above the window – makes me scroll necessarily.
Other than that I really like. Very tidy but not quite the Jevad tidiness I knew :/
