i'm making a logo for a design/build company. the name of the company is CAT (owners initials) and they already came up with the logo concept which uses the 3 letters. i'm trying to bring the whole thing together.
thoughts?

Sorry, I had to do that.
I'm not a big fan of any of them but I'd choose #4
- BZZZP0
of those, use fonts from 4 on layout from 1/2.

I would say number 4 by process of elimination.
- kyl30
shouldn't it be 'architecture & builders'
- lnu0
also, what BZZZP said.
- ukit0
or "architects & builders"

I say #4, definitely not 3, 6 and 7.

1, 2, or 4. brands work better horizontally.

okay, now what do you think?

I think it would be a little more interesting if you rotated the A and T inside the C so that there is a little angle and the circles open up. the straight up horizontal and vertical is throwing me off.
- rockonski0
try it in red and black.
- version30
try it in just black add color later

Top row definately.
Just a quick thought: you have a circle, triangle and square shape (C, A, T). That reminds me of that old new order video where there's a guy trying to stack a a sphere, a pyramid and a cube (with no luck). Maybe this bulding company has got what it takes to do just that, and maybe that could be visible in the logo somehow, nudge nudge.
But those 3 shapes has been used a lot before :(

feel a bit 80s to me.
apart from that i don't like how CAT is so big compared to the text underneath. the difference is too big imho.
why not make a wordmark, and then you can have the text stand out more underneath..
