and don't fucking call me :)

in graphic design studio, my professor always told me not to set type on a diagonal. "whatever you do, don't set type on a diagonal," she said. "it's been done."

bottom left

fuck that, i like type at an angle.
are you picking that one, meeklo, cause it does not have my middle name in it?
- 8eleven0
Yeah, but which one has the type at the right angle?
- kveldulfr_fou0
nr 5, first in 3rd row
2, 4 & 8 are the worst
- kveldulfr_fou0
i ment 3, 4 and 8
- ukit0
just telling you what she said, dude. i would actually pick the bottom left one last, i think it has the worst use of negative space.
- ldww0
cause they are so all over the place?

not feeling it, but if youre going to do the type at an angle look at some bauhaus work and refine it

I like the type of your name in 5 but make it straight. Nothing against diagonals, but that typeface is so slick it would be nice straight. Then just have contact info small and neat at the bottom or something.
My second name's Walsh, we're probably 2nd cousins.

You are the man!Regarding my pick:
Looking over all the cards, ignoring any information, I though that the abstract shaped formed by the type si the only one that seemed balanced, to be hones I didn't noticed if your middle name was in there or not.
so that is my pick!
:)

bottom left. It just reads better.
- ldww0
thanks guys. i am gonna play with it s little more. i was just messing around on lunch time.
i really do not want to make it straight cause its so sparce in content i think if its straight it will look extremly generic.

second column, second row... but flip your email address so that it's not upside-down (assuming that the blue 'x' is an image glitch and not part of the design).
my second choice is first column, first row.
- gruntt0
i'm digging the top 2.

And remember, your business card is your face....
- josimarX0
your business card is your face? what? nice one word-O
- stewart0
left top (nr 1)
and this is why:
my eyes first scan "louis" and after that "walch".
in a rescan i read "louis" again PLUS "daniel".
when i'm finished scanning "daniel" my eye is already on the position of the first line of your address.
and the whole shape is -sort of- in balance. it's not extremily leaning over to the left or right, you see?but i don't like the uppercase name... in lowercase you can add the ë in Daniël, which makes it more clear.
the light version of the font in the word Daniel is better in #1. the thin set words in the rest of the cards are way too light.

wow everyone is picking a different one.
so if its my face, and i have it in my pocket and sit down, i am sitting on my own face. that is kinda gross.
