    kld, i haven't figured it out yet. he died in 91', but i have all these letters he wrote to my mom when he lived in oakland, and in one he talks about how he's designing a discotech. the place probably isn't even there, and if it is, it's not the same, but i would like to see it. my dad was doing technical drawing out there for richo or something.

    there just aren't that many nightclubs in oakland, really the only one I can think of is The Omni which closed back a few years ago. It was me like a community center but had some shows too. I saw Eek a Mouse there in like '88.

    SF has all the nightspots.
