My girlfriend and I met through the personals site associated with The Onion and Nerve.com.
Talked a bit through email and IM, then over the phone, met in person about 3-4 weeks after we started talking. Went on a date, then she came to see me do a solo show, and the rest is history.
It was pretty nice, we were both interested in each other and came across each other's profiles and sent messages.
We've been together almost 3 years, completely in love and don't know what I would do without her. Some people think meeting people on the web is strange, but plenty more people than us have turned out happy and wouldn't change it for the world.

i've met everyone who has said they've met me above. they are, to a soul, wicked people to know. one of them got me a job and saved me from having to leave the u.k.
of course, when i underperform at said job, he does tend to use negative shock reinforcement, but at least he's finally come around to the theory that frontal lobotomies are not the answer to invalid code.

met a girl on napster about 5 years ago, decided to fly all the way to germany to meet her after talking for almost a year. 4 years later i'm sitting in bed next to her. worked out pretty good i'd say.

met idp, point5, caseyc and zenfulbeuty in person. all great. had a blast.
idp and point5 have become good friends.
met mg33 and we got into a 6 hour fist fight. then we hugged and drank a case and a half of beer. i woke up 2 days later in some asian couples house and they would NOT stop screaming at me.

I met Kuz, MX, Para, Moth, Vespa, Dancer, Pascii and TaraTara. It went pretty well. Me and Para do love on the second Tuesday of every month now. Although she tells me to keep it a secret.
