I've met my share. Made some good friends from AOL. We had a big group in ATL that met every friday night at this club. We had fun. But back then it wasn't the 'cool thing' to meet people from the computer in real life. So now people meet people from MySpace and it's okay. Go fig.
I actually met my wife through a guy I met from that AOL group and admittedly, I did date a handful of girls from AOL. Some were cool...some just had issues....but who doesn't have issues?

The Toronto NT'ers I have met are all responsible, law abiding citizens, but you wouldn't think that from their screen presence :P
I have met a few of girls from the online world. Wouldn't really recommend.

NT are cool (I think), but I agree about meeting some other people online. I guess you should just be careful and have an idea of what you're getting yourself into. I love the stories of people falling in love online, but I wouldn't do it myself.
