My girlfriend and I met through the personals site associated with The Onion and Nerve.com.
Talked a bit through email and IM, then over the phone, met in person about 3-4 weeks after we started talking. Went on a date, then she came to see me do a solo show, and the rest is history.
It was pretty nice, we were both interested in each other and came across each other's profiles and sent messages.
We've been together almost 3 years, completely in love and don't know what I would do without her. Some people think meeting people on the web is strange, but plenty more people than us have turned out happy and wouldn't change it for the world.
