love hotels are pretty wacky, i always felt like the police or the yakuza were gonna bust down the doors at any minute to steal all my clothes.

Tokyo is f**king huge man.
When I was a little kid an dI watched Godzilla movies I neve runderstood why it would take so long for Godzill to ravage Tokyo. I mean Godzill could stomp through Manhattan in like twenty minutes tops...
When I went to the bar at the top of the hotel on my first night in Tokyo I sat there and went "wow. No wonder it took Godzilla hours to stomp this place..."
Drinking with salaryman is dangerous.
Take a phot tour of th elove hotels...
Try and find all the public garbage cans you can..that'll take weeks...

get drunk, eat okinomiyaki/yakiniku/shashimi, watch out for "cheap sushi", playing drinking games with salarymen, eat more ramen than you will in your whole life, and don't you dare leave the country before humiliating yourself in karaoke. Oh and before I forget, beware of the Kancho assassins!
