i wonder if they are in fact obese or fat according to charts or what have you
- ********0
they don't seem overweight to me, more on the upper range of normal
- ********0
of course I haven't looked again so I might be wrong
- sherman0
//yeah your right - they are fat and obese.
*get on treadmill
- Jaline0
Most of them are not obese, people. The lotion is for firming skin right? So it's not really saying it's ok to be overweight...just that you should embrace your natural beauty.

The ads are airbrushed, like ALL ads are. I bet these girls show "cottage cheese" in real life, and of course they are wearing makeup and had thier hair done. the underwear looks like that playtex support series from a few years ago, because anything somewhat revealing would reveal how unfirm their skin actually is. The pale one thats as white as the site/billboards is the only one i don't consider fat. And if fat is insulting so is the word skinny.
- ********0
i must protest for the sake of all skinny people this world
- tehgee0
ithe funnier thing is you all are saying thier fat or not fat and taht in my opinion isnt reallly the point
- Mimio0
The point is that they are fat, and they want just as much attention as the skinny girls. In fact they want society-wide worship like skinny girls.
- rise0
Acttually, I hope thats what happens, society worships them for being "Fat" and not annorexic.
- clerk0
what those ad's are saying is that women are so stupid that dove has to tell them that bigger girls can also be beautiful, because they think girls don't know that. and that's stupid.
- ********0
clerk has a point
but on the defence of the girls, they been told that they have to look skinny by the mass media
where as being big has been good in the past
- rise0
I think it's directed towards the younger generation, who spend most there time wishing they were skinny and pretty...
Not people who know they look good just how they are.
- tehgee0
they just are who they are

(Aug 2 05, 13:41)well the concensus that I've gotten so far from the above people posting, I'm surprise they haven't started lynching people for being "fat."
- ********0
so why didnt they put skinny girls who are just who they are.
