Anyone get the tube today?
Seemed like there were PC's everywhere, very high-visibility presence, at least six at the stations I started out from and got off at.
Did it make you feel safer or more nervous?
What happens when the overtime runs out and they're NOT there?

it makes me feel better. they had people checking tickets on the buses too, remember 6 months ago when they phased them out? i prefer to have them there.

two wpcs were outside oxford circus just chatting to each other, so were not really doing their job to be honest!

I was out as far as South Ruislip this morning out in zone 5 and it too were a cop convention. I feel better for them to be there. It also stops the kids from jumping the gate which I find quite annoying.

There have been coppers at hackney downs overground since the first bombings. They must see that as an easy way into liverpool street.
