For the most part this forum is made up of liberals and I find that I am not listened to but instead if the liberals aren't throwing insults then they are busy asking questions to try and set up some question in hopes for an ignorant statement from me to help prove their point. So instead of listening and realizing we are not much different from each other and learning from each other I am cast away as some religious war monger when I am not religious nor do I enjoy war.
We all have the same goal. We all want peace. The problem is we all have different processes based on our own beliefs of how to attain peace. In the eyes of the Religious Right peace wont be brought until Christ is embraced. In the eyes of the liberals peace wont be brought until the Christians and religion is clear from the conscious. And the Muslim extremists are no better and far worse. The Religious Right blame Muslims without thought to America bringing this upon themselves and The Liberals blame America and in doing so are justifying the current terrorist reaction and intentional murder of innocent civilians further escalating the situation and causing more innocent deaths.
I believe all countries must condemn terrorism. Call it what it is, "terrorism". Stop comparing the word "Terrorism" to the US actions then once we have some handle on one cohesive world voice to help rid as much of the Muslim violence from the extremists as possible - begin to change our own governments (in all countries) to better this planet and not just ourselves within our own countries. Act as a whole.

but the invasion of iraq was not to fight terror, you even said so yourself, repub.
Im 32 and remember when conservatives were well... conservative.

why should 'liberals' buy into religion when there are churches that excommunicate people for being liberal?

-------------------------mrdobolina you are doing it again. Why must you continue to try and catch me in some corner? You are just asking wuestions not to understand me or my parties P.O.V. but instead with intent to trip up. Please try communicating with a different intetnion.
I never said Iraq was to fight terror did i? I'll look back but I believe what I said was that all the countires and our leaders were all in favor of dealing with Iraq by way of force. When did I say it was to fight terrorism?

I already understand your party's views.
Your condescending attitude kills it every time.

"Republicans use facts, statistics and history to make solid decisions. "
um...
- mrdobolina0
your party's views drift depending on who you ask, a high percentage of people think that iraq was somehow responsible for iraq, because that is what our republican president set them up to believe.
he lied. sorry if I dont think your party is heading this country in the right direction.

------------------------And there it is. The pinnacle point of your closing the door again to avoid listening and communicating. The next time you just can't understand this world and find yourself blaming remember these times when you chose on your own accord to not understand. Ignorance breeds violence mrdobolina. Your beliefs are a part of the continued violence.
Okay obviously between skelly and mrdobolina the snowball effect of insults are beginning again and all logic and understanding has disintegrated as always. I guess I will leave for now and let you all make further assumptions and throw more insults to help ease the very idea that just maybe you are no better than the Religious Right and just maybe what you believe is just as destructive as the very crowd you point the finger at. In my book - you are worse.

---------------------mrdobolina the same can be said for any party. Liberals drift depending on who you ask as well. A high percentage of people think that the Iraq war was about oil to make America richer without any thought to it being about the Euro vs. the Dollar and perhaps this belief is slightly shallow.
There exists no evidence of intentional deceit and again the liberals are using assumptions to base their beliefs.
- skelly0
Hey, thanks for making assumptions yourself. Please let me know where I made an insult? All I said was "um" because that statement confused me. If you have the time, I'd like to see when the Republicans have based their decisions on facts and history, as the biggest complaint about their decision making is that the DON'T do that.
I hate talking about parties anyway because it leads to generalizations. The sooner we stop this "my party" and "your party" bullshit and realize as one country we are comprised of all parties, the sooner we can work together instead of fighting ourselves.

well spoken skelly. I apologize for having made an assumption of you. I don't claim to be perfect.

this country would have done much better with a more level-headed president like mccain in 2000. our country would be in a better place diplomatically right now.

Ahhh perfect timing and from a UK man himself:
"The whole history of the world is summed up in the fact that, when nations are strong, they are not always just, and when they wish to be just, they are no longer strong."
