i was watching a special on the discovery channel over the weekend on lance and how most cyclists produce this acid in their legs during the mountain stages that slow down the riders and sets in fatigue but they did all these studies on lance and his blood and lance produces four times less of this acid which allows him to blow past everyone in the mountain stages.

i am almost done reading Lance Armstrong's War by Daniel Coyle.
i highly recommend it, truely inspiring and learned so much about cycling.

If anyone thinks for one second that Lance Armstrong isn't going to win that race, they need mental help.
He toys with the competition. Wins when he has to and cruises the other times. Even though he doesn't win each leg. Although, they say outside of the race he is a prick.

haha, i remember reading last year that inside the race he is a prick too. like, he winks at his main competition as he shoots past them and shit. but that only makes me love him even more.

he trains different for the mountains. something like as everyone else gears up he gears down and stands or some weird shit. whatever it is it helps in reducing the amount of lactic acid biuldup (the stuff that makes your legs burn when you work them out). i forget how he does it. it's brilliant though.

haha, trust me, i totally agree with it.
i just remember everyone non-american being so pissed off at the end of the race last year.
but, if i were lance and i have the french journalists beating down my door (literally) when im trying to sleep looking for performance enhancers, i'd be a total prick too.
