MX: I wasn't being insensitive, I'm a peace-lover myself - I just want to smoke blaw and chill oot, but enough's enough - they are a couple of war mongering fucks, meddling in business which ISN'T theirs.
In a sense it's the Yanks fault for their post world war II creations, but what our governments are doing now is wrong, and I'm sorry - but now IS the time to say it, whilst the horror brought on by the actions of our ELECTED government are all too evident.

(Jul 8 05, 05:15)Well said Mr Wim Crouwel. Britian had the chance to elect a different government several weeks ago but didn't manage it (owing to the stupid way the election system works) - Blair won a third term with 33% of the votes.
Newstoday is not the place to discuss politics. Leave politics to the politicians - we pay them to do their job you get paid to do yours.

no matter who's in office, there is always going to be haters. no one person can appease everyone's wishes. that's why they're called "leaders". they have to make decisions based on their experience and what they think is good for their country at that time and place. it's not an easy job for anyone. i think the current political leaders are doing as good a job as anyone. don't make me start talking about clinton....
