To be frank, i think you're the one that's lost. what is it that you like so much about Gensler's work? and more specifically what has David Gensler brought to graphic design? because this is the point you've brought up. i'm not going to argue whether he was successful in his endeavors w/ the ROC... because that's not the point. So, please, what's so briliant about David Gensler?

if you dont know what success is, and you dont know what the Roc has been in the urban community as far as 'design' or 'branding' or whatever
then you are lost

he has done more for my community w/ this Rocafella thing...
and his ideaology and manifestations on this culture as a whole in bringing the races together,
is more then i have seen any 'designer' 'thinker'

well i don't know everything either, but unlike you i will elucidate for you. cause everyone is able and capable of getting it.
isaac hayes was branded black moses by the fine minds at stax records. they were doing interracial productions long before david gensler et al. it's a fine album too -- i'm not saying gensler efforts pale in comparison. i'm just sayin, youknowwhatimean?
