can anyone help me out here?
do you think asking for a 25% increase at your two year anniversary is too much? too little?
as of now i am in the lower half of what others make in my same job description... im an art director at a small agency that is still considered a startup but we have multiple multi-million dollar clients - so i feel its kind of justified.
can anyone shed some light on this for me?
thanks....

if done well you can earn respect from your bosses by asking for lots of cash. they may even believe you're worth it and pay you...
- MrDinky0
do it
nut justify it
not by how much clients bring in but rather yuor contributiondo a little pitch for ut boss. present it and pitch the idea.

it really depends where you work.
corporate-forget it.
small design firm-probably not 25% but if you're good you could get in the ballpark
large design firm-forget it. unless you are really good and can talk the talk.
good luck regardless. if you are happy with your job i wouldn't stress about it. things will fall into place. that being said, make sure they don't walk all over you though.
confidence is key. overconfidence is the gum in the lock.

*note to self:actually read the whole damn post.
okay, it seems that you are in fact pretty damn likely to pull down a 25% pay increase. go for it!

definately go for the raise but 25%?!? man, if you pull that off nice work.
aim for the 25% but have some paperwork behind you. maybe your job spec and what you do for the company listed. maybe a 'what i can do for you in the future" kind of thing also. approach it as a pitch and put some effort into it. they probably wont give you 25% but if you do it in a business-like way you might impress them enough to come the the party closer. always aim high but have a fallback % and possibly other things planned (benefits or bonuses which will please you and not cost them to much).
