can you critique my portfolio site and provide some constructive criticism?
I feel like it is too much work or too long? I am still working on putting up my film work.
Thanks

what's up dinky...bitch!
just kidding
overall it looks pretty good.
i'm going out on a limb here, an no offense to you, but the one page portfolios have been the new 2adv of 2001.

yeah, the one pager is kind of played out but it is an easy and effective way to demonstrate some of my work.
i really wanted to put the focus on the projects.

overall if i analyze it, it's fine; but something just doesn't feel quite right. you just have a fraction of a sec to really captivate a viewer at this level, and i feel that something is missing in this regard.
maybe break apart the projects visually a bit more to add distinction between when they start and finish. also if the piece was a real object, show the object (not the digital file). You start off doing this at the top, but with the business cards you show digital files. This tends to obscure the actual work a bit, and adds to my feeling lost contextually.
hope this helps...
good luck :-)

ivan,
i feel the same way. i'm still trying to get all my stuff together so i can get photos.
maybe i should work on the grid for the top text section

do u really need an enter page ?
I agree with the spacing issues
dunno if it needs your logo as a faded repeted background under R & L DESIGN

i'm looking at it again and thinking...
maybe if you used a very slight grey background (like maybe 2-5%) for every other project?
that might provide for better seperation and flow. I still feel that lack of visual seperation between the projects is holding it back a bit.
