Nah, I'm taking about the longer ESPN, 60 minitues type interviews. He kicks this naive child meets serial killer vibe. Always on egde. ...confused and angry.

"c'mon, he shouldn't even be fighting in the first place. he's old"
Tyson owes the IRS like a zillion dollars. Thats why he did this.

I feel for the guy. He grew up in a really tough childhood, born to a cracked out mother, and just wasn't educated well. Everyone took advantage of him, used him for money, and now he's dead broke.
I feel for the guy in a sense.

haha thre is already a tyson movie out...
but..the reason why is the fighter anymore who he was...tyson was strenght, not strategy..now you see his strength is gone...he dosn't know how the cope with this lack of insight so he starts to fight dirty...the man is not a boxer...ali,joe frazier;lamotta, lennow lewis..now those where boxers...my 2cents...
btw..i was a boxer ;)

his sociopathic problems aside, mike tyson deserved respect as a boxer back in the 80's because he was unstoppable. he would have floored ali in his prime. in case your only memories of tyson were from his nes boxing game:

Tyson would not have floored Ali. Ali was the man. He took apart Foreman, and foreman had the dtrength that Tyson had and was smarter to boot.
Of couse, Ali took a beating in that fight, but still won.
Ali demolished Foreman so bad he beat him spiritually. Foreman was such a badass and now these days he's like "Buy my grill.."
Sad. Tyson needed an Ali in his career to beat him so bad he could remake his soul.
But Tyson was dominant fighter for sure in his hayday - fun to watch. But no Ali...

(Jun 12 05, 03:26)thats not true. tyson was a boxing historian and watched film 8 hours at a time when he was training with cus d'ammata. the man knows how to fight and he is a strategiest, he just lacks stamina.
he is a lot smarter than he portrays. if you got $5 for acting like a fool, youd do it too. i do agree that he shouldnt be fighting, but when everyone you have known in your boxing career (other than d'ammata) takes advantage of you, youd be fucking tapped too.

He has put on a great show over the years..boxing life and personal life.
It would make an awesome film.
