Christian Bale is hot. Bryan Singer is attractive. Anyway, after getting past that vain part, I'd have to say that Singer is a great director.
I don't care that Cyclops is getting killed off. It may not be like the story, though, which bugs me. This may mean that Jean will end up with Wolverine, which is alright I guess. Just not true. I wonder if Icedude is coming back, as Rogue eventually ends up with Gambit.

Ian McKellen's excellent performance makes it difficult to guage Bryan Singer's contribution IMO.

When is it appropiate to dicuss details about batman? I was impressed..but there were flaws that bugged me.

i seen it yesterday at iMax and it did break all the rules that all of its film predecessors have acheived and it did it very very well!!!
i wont say anything about the film other than this was the first one to bring in a part of the story that the others never did and it worked very vwell, i was very surprised and i felt great knowing themedium of the comic has succeded to this level fucking finally made the batman dark!!! iwas waiting for this day for a long time, the day that comics to film would drift away from the kiddie vibe and show it as it was meant to be dark and scary!

It was fantastic. Dark, moody and true to the Dark Knight character. I felt that the history of his studies in the east was perfectly in line with his dark and mysterious persona and his skills. They succeeded in making him more frightening than comical. One of the best movies I've seen in a long long time. Highly recommend it.

Saw it last night, it was really fantastic. I love that the beginning was slow and told the story. Loved when he crawled down into that cave to conquer his fears and figured, "Hey, this would be a great place to hid all my Batman stuff in."
Visuals were great, skyline shots with rundown stuff mixed in with the natural Chicago skyline was awesome.
Also loved that sound the Tumbler made when it turned, sounded like something out of Star Wars.
Now, the question is, with the foreshadowing of the Joker card at the end, does anyone figure they will make another one with Bale that remakes the original Batman with Michael Keaton?
That would be awesome, I would love to see it with the look and feel of Begins.
