Also is there meant to be a space before .php on the last line of step 7?
- yes
Do I put a return where he has?
"For PHP 4.." etc.. should on the same line as the comment "#"...
Then hit return and add in
AddType etc..

GET THE FUCK IN!!!!!!!
IT WORKS.It is easier with BBEdit, the way through terminal looks a little more complex. Tis a shame BB costs $200, I imagine TextWrangler does the same thing though.
Moth and Rabbatski thanks for the help and bringing me through this tough time
*sniff
I'd like to thank God my family......etc...

none of you are true geeks... the terminal isnt Telnet (Telnet is just an (old) protocol like SSH) and the Terminal isnt a command prompt...

uh oh... that was a can of worms.
rabattski: phpMyAdmin is web based.
http://www.phpmyadmin.net/Download it - and upload it as you would a website. You only need to edit config.inc.php
Run it on the same server - under it's own domain or a sub folder, but make sure you protect that directory.
- stewart0
okay, and now we're ready for mySQL OSX
- rabattski0

ribit, thanks mate, remind me next time when we meet that you're a real geek and i'm a fake geek so i can give you a glasgow kiss :)

If it's NOT already installed (aka OSX Server) go here:
http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/m…Find the version for your OS and select one with an installer.
Read the instructions... then come back in here!
