I think I may switch BACK to Mac now! I reluctantly moved over to a pc-based system a few years ago, mainly because I needed the advantage of having a stronger processor and video-card. Using Intel processors will put Apple back in the game of competitive speed among the PCs out there. Now all they need to do is price their systems competitively...

The main difference is you will be most probably able to run Windows on a Mac natively. They don't have to cut prices, they've just removed the reason people who wanted macs hesitated before doing so. With a Mac you will be able to run both systems if you want to, so you don't need two machines anymore.
