Damn Ipod!

went for a walk on the lake today and sat for a while listening to my ipod. When i stood up, the ipod case's clip unattached itself from my belt and my ipod fell into a bottomless voidof huge rocks/boulders with an opening to small for a hand or arm and too deep to try and fish it out.
this blows. now i have to shell out to get a new one.

What would a magnet do to it? Worth a shot tying a magnet to a string and fishing that thing out.

Don't use a magnet. You use a magnet on an iPod and it will fry the harddrive. Then you'd have a nice paperweight.
