yeah the funny thing is is she should go look at her work...It also happens to be very similar to WeWorkForThem with all those patterns and what not..Oh well i guess I got to learn to face the design community

i consider this not "the design community"
imho this is a mistake all of you make, to me the people in this so called "scene"/"community" only make up for a small percentage of what i consider the world of (graphic) design.
if i have to be honest i am a bit dissapointed that the focus here often only goes towards the "glamorous and trendy" forms of design instead of design that is not just aesthetically pleasing or "nice" (=barf) but also functional and groundbreaking by idea or execution.
perhaps a lot of people here tend to find that boring or uninteresting. to me it is not.
if this is the case anyway, we can only say a lot of what this so called community is made up from is entertainment design.

You can't say they are all like this either... I know YWFT are really cool, ansewr any questions that novice or beginner designers have, same with J Davis ... well everyone knows that, he's more of a teacher.
I've never heard any of them do such a put down as prate did, but at the same time, they are human like u and I. I've heard people say lings 100x worse than her to the same effect. SO let's not blow eveything out of proportion.

i'm not taking any sides here and i usually stay out of shit like this, but it seems a little out of control.
everyone bashes ndey for shameless self promotion and for borrowing specific styles, then he apologizes - so everyone changes their mind, fine. but for everyone to turn around and bash Prate? now, the same kid who was being bashed in the beginning, feels that he has the right to talk shit on the person he got his style from, wtf? ndey, you should have just said sorry, and left it alone, now you have people emailing jemma?? shes been in the game for quite sometime, i would respect that... but that's just me. and after all, she has her opinion just as the rest of us do..if you're as young as you are, i wouldn't be disrespecting anyone at this point, you could be closing doors that you don't even know exist.

she's tight with WWFT, they've collabed together and shit, they all influenced eachother, and a lot of us as well - including you - so i'm just saying that you shouldn't bite the hand that feeds you type thing, nah mean?
