Sour grapes. The kid's cocky for sure (his resume is intensely idiotic), but why fault him for "lifting"? Most trendy design looks exactly the same.
Maybe he should do as prate does and create boring pompous tripe.

u know I admire prate, cina their direction.
but I'll admit when i first see a new style, sometimes unaware of who did it, I wont like it at all... over time it grows on me, and I'll find myself really admiring it.
But I have always been a fan or their stuff.
I think Cina and prate have an especially good eye for color and shape.

don't hate Prate.
it's never pompous or elitist unless one claims or acts to be so.
i like the experiments of Prate as they can inspire you on an abstract level. color, shape, composition etc.

ehhh... I had to brush my teeth after seeing it.
But it's more of the 60's beatles yellow submarine astetic thats infected some of our old favorites such as Demo, Davis, UPSO (and he's jumping on the mustache bandwagon).
I like the old stuff, it was more original , like Prates Computer Channel... it had Cina astetic but was still more original than this 60's phycidelia (sp!) thats been infiltrating graphic design. You've got the three big ones Urban design takes the skulls, crowns, and lions... then the more "proper" designer gets the moustaches and 60's stuff. Why isnt art deco making a comback?
I'm hoping one day it will subside and some new fads will emerge.
