lovedesign, did you advertise in NT Employment Opportunities section?
BTW, in my country people are expected to work for free:

Am I wrong, or those are a bit exagerated epectations from an unpaid intern working 8hrs/day for half a year?
- lovedesign0
no the studio is anonter site lovedesign is just a nice domain.
Anybody fancy a move to the UK?
I'll throw in a fridge!

I wouldn't have taken 36k a year out of college let alone for a experienced person.

I know someone who's willing to relocate from Dublin to UK:

£55 a week from the government

Seriously that's a rock bottom salary around Detroit. I have no idea what cost of living is around Manchester. You might get a producton artist for that.

entry level around here (philly) is between $30k - $40k in my experience

love, what are the requirements for this position...that may help us tell you yay or nay.
for now tho it's looking like a nay on that salary...bump it up.
- lovedesign0

A web designer would need to clear 2 sites a month to cover that

you get what you pay for. hence the 3 good cv's.and the 'no sense is paying someone 100k a year if they only do 50k of work' made me piss myself in laughter after you then said the actual price you're paying. um... shouldn't it have been 'no sense in paying someone 72k a year when we can pay them 37k and pocket the rest.'
dude

I think it all goes on years experience. 3 years in london would be from £23 up to £25. If you pay your staff well and don't over work them I think they should work hard for you.
Whats the agency in Manc. I was at uni there.

Actually the guy's from Poland, has been living in Dublin for half a year.
He's the main designer behind http://www.thirtyfingers.com website, you'll reach him at
tomasz[at]thirtyfingers.com
fforms.com is his personal portfolio.

were looking for a designer to make layouts. Brief would be supplied. Get it ready for a pitch.
If we win the job oversee the Juniors and make sure it comes out as they intended it!
Easy really if the candidate is a good designer with attention to detail.

36k/yr. for a senior level position? Time to get real man. You'll be lucky to get a bullshitter for that.
